Customized classroom-training program that addresses compliance issues of OSHA's Hazard Communication standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, also referred to as "HazCom" or "The Right-to-Know Law". The HazCom standard is one of OSHA's most often cited standards in business and industry. Our Hazard Communication Training is site-specific and designed to meet the employer's specific needs. Training will focus on Company's written safety policy, employee training, employee responsibilities, how hazardous chemicals hurt, detecting exposure and response, how to read and use Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), warning labels & NFPA 704, personal protective equipment (PPE).
60 minutes of training in alcohol misuse and 60 minutes of training on controlled substances use. The training shall cover the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse and use of controlled substances. Employees are training to recognize, investigate, address, document and follow up when use or abuse is suspected.
